Bryan Bodnar has served on the AICPA Technical Issues for over five years and is the Chair. He is a technical partner in BKD’s National Office accounting and auditing department. He takes a lead role in the firm’s external peer review and internal inspection. He also provides technical support and training to BKD auditors, implements quality control policies and procedures for new professional standards, performs engagement quality review on engagements and assists with peer reviews of other firms.
He began his BKD career as a member of BKD National Health Care Group in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, office, where he provided audit, accounting and financial consulting services to clients. From 2009 to 2013, he served as A&A Director of the firm’s Houston, Texas, office after working in BKD’s National Office as national accounting and auditing assistant director from 2005 to 2009.
He is a graduate of The University of Tulsa.
