Shane Wharton

Shane began his career at Love’s in 1997. As president of the company, he provides leadership, strategies and processes to support the company’s rapid growth. Shane oversees Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal and Fleet Sales. Prior to Love’s, Shane was a senior auditor at KPMG and controller for Data Times.

Shane is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and a certified public accountant. He has been involved in community service in the Oklahoma City area and for OSU for many years. He has served on the OSU School of Accounting Advisory Board and on the boards of Youth Leadership Exchange, Oklahoma Science Museum, the Homeless Alliance, the United Way of Central Oklahoma – which presented him with the Ray Ackerman Leadership award in 2010, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma. Wharton is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City (Class XXV), and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Oklahoma Society of CPAs.

Shane and his wife, Lori, have two adult children.
