Sid McAnnally is president and chief executive officer of ONE Gas and a member of the ONE Gas Board of Directors.
McAnnally joined the company in 2015 as senior vice president of operations responsible for the operation of its three natural gas utilities – Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, Kansas Gas Service and Texas Gas Service. He was promoted to chief operating officer in 2020, assuming additional responsibilities for the company’s administrative functions, including human resources and information technology.
Before joining ONE Gas, McAnnally was an officer of Energen Corporation. Prior to Energen, McAnnally practiced law, representing clients in the utility, financial and corporate sectors.
McAnnally serves on the Board of Directors of the American Gas Association. He served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the American Gas Foundation and remains an active trustee. McAnnally is also a member of the National Petroleum Council.
McAnnally holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University. He has also attended the Executive Education Program at the Harvard Business School.
