Robert Zapfel, president of Xerox Services, will address Friends of Finance Feb. 16, 2017. He was named to the position on April 1, 2014, and also appointed an executive vice president of the corporation at that time. Zapfel’s background in global services features an emphasis on transforming complex operations to customer focused, profitable and sustaining businesses. His extensive industry knowledge helps drive and implement the company’s strategy to increase customer value, improve competitiveness and simplify work processes.
Prior to his appointment at Xerox, Zapfel spent 35 years with IBM where he helped guide the transformation of their services business to a profitable model with a focus on delivering excellence to clients. During his time at IBM, Zapfel held senior leadership positions in Services, including head of the IBM’s Global Technology Services business for the Americas, head of its Global Delivery organization and head of Strategy. He also ran the Travel and Transportation and Financial Services verticals, as well as the services operations in Latin America.
The luncheon will be held in the Great Hall of the Allen Chapman Student Union, 3135 E. 5th Place, Tulsa Oklahoma. Check-in begins at 11:15 a.m. Reservations are required.
