Scholarships

A graduate education is one of the most important investments you will make in your lifetime. The Graduate School provides scholarship awards and graduate assistantships to approximately one third of our students, with awards up to 75% of tuition plus a monthly stipend. For students who need additional funding, a variety of loan opportunities are available and students are welcome to seek private scholarship opportunities.

Loans

Federal and private education loans are available for graduate students. TU’s Office of Student Financial Services has a full-time graduate student adviser available to answer questions and make sure you understand your opportunities. Contact Kristi Emerson at kristi-emerson@utulsa.edu or visit the Office of Student Financial Services for more information.

Company Tuition Reimbursement

If you plan to work while earning your graduate degree, consult with your employer about paying for your degree. Many employers offer tuition reimbursement programs. If your employer does not, consult with your management to discuss options. Many students have received funding from their employers even though it is not included in their regular benefits package. Tuition deferment plans are available for students with this benefit.
