Program Description

The Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) targets the education of students in the analysis, interpretation and prediction capabilities of large sets of data. The MSBA is a STEM-certified program that will direct you to master the technical tools necessary to perform analysis of a variety of data and utilize data the drive informed decision-making. Furthermore, coursework will develop students’ communication skills, a key component to employment and success in the field.

Skills and Outcomes

The Master of Science in Business Analytics program will equip you to:

  • develop, analyze and apply descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytical techniques for a wide range of business problems and data scenarios;
  • demonstrate proficiency with analytics programming, data management, data visualization and quantitative analysis to support decision-making; and
  • communicate the results of analytics projects effectively to audiences with various analytic backgrounds.

Experiential Learning

The MSBA offers a Business Analytics Practicum as an immersive data analytics experience guided by faculty and/or industry mentors using “big data” from current business situations.
