

Investment Smackdown 2022
High school students interested in economics and finance are invited to take part in a friendly competition on Wednesday, April 13 at 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Helmerich Hall (Virtual Option).
Smackdown Competition
Teams will develop and present championship investment advice focusing on two powerslam topics:
- Managing investment risks
- Putting endowment funds to work
Guidelines
Up to two teams may represent each school.
- Teams must have a minimum of four members and no more than six.
- Presentations are 20 minutes followed by a 10-minute question-and-answer session.
- Judges will comprise industry professionals and TU finance faculty.

- Fundamental Analysis vs. Technical Analysis

- Best strategies for planning a career in finance
