Investment Smackdown 2022

High school students interested in economics and finance are invited to take part in a friendly competition on Wednesday, April 13 at 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Helmerich Hall (Virtual Option).

Smackdown Competition

Teams will develop and present championship investment advice focusing on two powerslam topics:

  • Managing investment risks
  • Putting endowment funds to work

Guidelines

Up to two teams may represent each school.

  • Teams must have a minimum of four members and no more than six.
  • Presentations are 20 minutes followed by a 10-minute question-and-answer session.
  • Judges will comprise industry professionals and TU finance faculty.

  • Best strategies for planning a career in finance
