FTC executive Binoy Agarwal to speak on cyber security

TU’s Collins College of Business will host the Distinguished Lecture Series Thursday, April 14 featuring Binoy Agarwal (BSBA ’01, MBA ’06), assistant director of information technology at the Federal Trade Commission.

Modern businesses of all sizes are challenged by evolving security threats to information resources within their organizations. However, experience has shown that even the best security technologies are not enough by themselves – a robust information security posture requires early management focus and continued diligence. Agarwal will present “Managing Modern Cyber (in)Security,” which explores management aspects of information technology that apply not only to the FTC, but also to organizations of all sizes.

The lecture will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Helmerich Hall Room 219. It is free and open to the public.
