TU’s marketing program named among best in the country

College Choice has named The University of Tulsa one of the best marketing programs in the country ranking it No. 20 on the Best Bachelor’s in Marketing Degrees for 2017 list. Criteria for selection included survey responses rating academic reputation, financial aid offerings, overall cost of the school and graduate success rates, weighed with data from other publicly available sources.

College Choice is an independent online publication dedicated to helping students and their families find the right college. The site publishes rankings and reviews along with resources to help students evaluate college choices.

As organizations continue to implement marketing activities designed to maintain or increase market share and distinguish themselves from competitors, nearly all sectors of the profession are expected to grow between 5 and 9 percent through 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Marketing professionals listen to the needs and desires of consumers, and then develop goods and services for the marketplace and the systems to promote and distribute those goods and services.
